Michelin shared the system for researching solid particles in tires with ETRMA members

Michelin announces that at the Tire Technology 2024 show, it will present to the scientific community and industry a new step forward in the development of a system for analyzing fine particles, as well as the first results of the study.

Details of this study were published in December 2022 and March 2023. Very recently, Michelin has made the system for analyzing emitted lightweight particles available to the tire industry and ETRMA (European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers' Association).

In addition, ETRMA will conduct a wider-scale measurement campaign with the help of an independent third party. The campaign will start this year and will last about 18 months.
