Marangoni and Prinx Chengshan Develop Cooperation

At the IAA Transportation show in Hanover, Germany, Marangoni, a world leader in tire retreading, and Prinx Chengshan, a Chinese tire manufacturer, which recently signed a strategic partnership agreement, presented one of their first joint products - the Ringtread RTH155 tread with a pattern from the Austone ATH155 trailer tire for long-distance transportation Austone ATH155.

The collaboration, announced at The Tire Cologne 2024, aims to meet Marangoni's growing demand for high-quality casings and enable the company to offer customers a comprehensive range, including both new tires under the Austone brand, owned by Prinx Chengshan, and retreaded tires manufactured by the Italian company.

Marangoni notes that the partnership with Prinx Chengshan will help solve a problem faced by the retreading industry, which is experiencing a shortage of casings from European tire manufacturers. "Through cooperation with Prinx Chengshan, known for its high-quality products, Marangoni intends to ensure stable supplies of a key component for tire retreading," the company says. "This strategic partnership will not only solve the casing shortage problem but also enable us to offer customers a reliable and attractive solution, allowing them to work without unwanted delays."

The company adds that "retreaded truck tires have the same quality, mileage, and efficiency, as well as the same level of safety, as comparable new tires", while their operation reduces the environmental impact and saves customers money.
