Linglong is building its seventh plant in China

Linglong has begun construction of its seventh tire plant in China, which will be located in the Lu'an city district of Anhui province. The announcement that the new facility would be built in Lu'an was made at the end of 2022, and it was reported at the time that the project, which is planned to be implemented in three stages, would involve an investment of $700 million, and the new plant's capacity would be 12 million passenger and 2 million commercial tires.

In addition to tire production, the new industrial complex will also launch the recycling of used tires, from which regenerates and other materials will be produced. The plant is expected to reach full capacity by 2029.

Linglong currently has five plants in China: in Zhaoqing, Dezhou, Liuzhou, Jingmen, and Changchun, and the sixth is to be built in Tongchuan. The company also produces tires in Thailand and Serbia.
