Linglong became a member of ETRMA

The Board of Directors of the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers' Association (ETRMA) has approved the application of the Chinese company Linglong Tire to become a full corporate member of the organization.

"The addition of Linglong Tire to the ETRMA membership list is an important step towards strengthening the collective strength of our industry in Europe," said ETRMA President Chris Dilaney. "Linglong's participation will undoubtedly contribute to ETRMA's efforts to develop a competitive tire industry in the EU."

Founded in 1975, Linglong offers a wide range of tires for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and special equipment, and in September 2024, mass production was launched at the plant in Zrenjanin (Serbia). Previously, no Chinese tire company had its own production in Europe.

"We are fully prepared to participate in ETRMA's work to create a competitive industry environment that benefits all parties," noted Wang Feng, President and CEO of Linglong. "Europe is a key market for Linglong, and our membership reflects our commitment to long-term development in the region."

Currently, ERTMA includes 14 manufacturers that produce tires in Europe.
