Kumho brings passenger car tire technology to the SUV market

In response to the growing demand for high-performance SUV tyres, Kumho has revamped its SUV/4x4 line-up by transferring passenger car tyre technologies to the SUV market. 

The new flagship Kumho product, the ECSTA PS71 SUV, has been specifically designed for high-performance SUV models from the likes of Land Rover, BMW and Audi. Its tread pattern is closely linked to that of the high-performance passenger car tyre, the ECSTA PS71, and features a high-dispersion micro-silica and fifth-generation solution-styrene butadiene rubber, which has been used in the tread compound of passenger car tyres.
