Kumho reinforces its leadership in design with the innovative OMNI RING

The OMNI RING tire concept from Kumho Tyre has received recognition in two categories at the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award 2026. This award, along with the iF Design Award and IDEA, is part of the "big three" global design competitions and confirms Kumho's status as a leader in innovative design.

The OMNI RING concept, previously recognized at the iF Design Awards, represents a breakthrough in the field of future mobility. Its modular structure is designed for next-generation transportation systems: it allows for free movement in any direction and flexible wheel configuration.

Thanks to the modular system, the number of tread blocks can be changed depending on the task: for urban conditions, an energy-efficient "pine tree" pattern with a low noise level is provided, and for high-speed intercity trips - a durable block tread.
