Kumho Expands Tire Supply for Volkswagen
South Korean Kumho will supply tires for the original equipment of mid-size crossovers Volkswagen Tiguan and Cupra Terramar, both built on the new Volkswagen MQB Evo platform.
At Kumho, it is noted that the Tiguan is a popular car that combines excellent maneuverability with fuel efficiency, and the Terramar is an important model that expands the Cupra brand line and combines sports design and practicality. For both cars, the sports tires Kumho Ecsta PS71 SUV were approved, which are suitable for use at high speeds and have an enhanced design designed with the characteristics of crossovers and SUVs in mind. In addition, the increased contact patch area improves braking efficiency and handling, while also increasing tire life. The Ecsta PS71 tire is also available in the brand's lineup, which is suitable for installation on a wide range of passenger cars, including popular electric vehicle models.

The Tiguan is equipped with tires in sizes 215/65 R17 and 235/55 R18, and the Terramar is equipped with tires in size 235/55 R18.
