Largest tire manufacturer

When we hear about the largest tire manufacturer, companies like Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, and Pirelli come to mind. 
But as it turns out, this is not the case. The Guinness Book of Records has recorded a record for the largest volume of tires produced in a year, and this record does not belong to any of the largest companies. As it turns out, the record was set by the famous company Lego, which produces tires for its constructor sets. As you know, the company strives for precision and quality of its parts, and even the tires have a size indication, and by analogy with real tires, they have different tread patterns depending on the segment. 

This is rather an interesting fact, because it cannot be called tires in the full sense. The products that are called "tires" in the Lego world are made of simple rubber, while car tires have a complex composition of many components and a whole set of technologies that ensure safety on the road. 

Another interesting fact is related to the Danish company that produces the constructor. In collaboration with Bugatti, they built an exact replica of the Bugatti Chiron racing car. The peculiarity of this car was that all elements were built from the constructor. All interior elements, electronics, even the engine and brake pads were built from constructor parts. Only one element could not be replaced. These are the wheels - discs and Michelin tires.
