The Leapmotor B10 crossover has been fitted with Linglong tires

The company Linglong Tire announced that the recently mass-produced tires Linglong Sport Master e have been approved for the new electric compact crossover Leapmotor B10, which will be the first global model of the Chinese brand and was developed with the participation of Maserati specialists who optimized the chassis technologies.

The Linglong Sport Master e tires were created specifically for vehicles with new energy sources (NEV), and the company claims that due to a special rubber compound recipe, rolling resistance has been reduced by 23%, which can increase the range of electric vehicles by 8%. In addition, the Treadwear durability index is 500, which, as the manufacturer emphasizes, is the best indicator among tires in this category.

The asymmetric tread pattern of the Sport Master e with wide grooves is designed, among other things, to improve handling on wet roads, while the closed shoulders and grooves reduce noise levels in various speed modes.

Linglong collaborates with many automakers, such as Audi, BMW, Stellantis, Hongqi, Wuling, and BYD, and previously the company reported that shipments of tires for NEVs in the primary equipment sector amounted to about 9 million tires, which means that the Chinese manufacturer's share in this segment globally was 24%, more than any other supplier.
