The Chery Tiggo 9 crossover has been "shod" in Maxxis tires

Maxxis announced that since March 2025, it has started supplying tires for all versions of the Chery Tiggo 9 crossover (including hybrid C-DM and Fulwin T10) except for the flagship model, which will "further strengthen the brand's position in the OE segment of the Chinese market".

The Tiggo 9 is equipped with Maxxis Victra Sport 5 SUV tires in the size 245/50ZR20, adapted for use on crossovers and SUVs and featuring an asymmetric tread pattern with wide diagonal grooves, which, in combination with the optimized rubber compound, improves traction and safety on both dry and wet roads. Additionally, the reduced rolling resistance allows for reduced energy consumption, and, as the manufacturer claims, the tires are also capable of improving ride smoothness and acoustic comfort.

Chery notes that Maxxis was chosen as the tire supplier for the Tiggo 9 due to the brand's reputation, high product quality, and the company's successful implementation of technological innovations. Maxxis develops new tires at a world-class research center created as part of a $1 billion yuan (140 million dollar) investment project, and, in addition, the largest tire testing ground in China was built in Kunshan, which, according to the company, allows for testing tires in extreme conditions.

In the original equipment segment, Maxxis collaborates with a number of leading automakers, such as SAIC-GM, SAIC-VW, Changan Ford, Dongfeng Nissan, and others, and the company notes that it intends to continue increasing investments in research and development to produce high-effective and quality tires that meet the needs of various consumer groups. In addition, Maxxis plans to continue expanding its cooperation with Chery and contributing to the development of the Chinese automotive industry.
