"Kordiant" has been included in the EU sanctions list

Cordiant JSC «Cordiant» and its CEO Dmitry Gorbachev have been included in the 22nd package of EU sanctions, TASS reports citing a decision published in the Official Journal of the EU. 

The tire manufacturer's press service stated that the company's inclusion in the sanctions list will not affect its operational activities. 

Ural Tyre Plant LLC was also added to the list. 

Cordiant unites five tire plants located in Yaroslavl, Omsk, Kaluga, and Ulyanovsk, as well as a research and development center. In 2024, shortly after Cordiant came under the control of Alexey Mordashov's Severgroup, the holding was also included in the U.S. Treasury's blocking sanctions list.

Ural Tyre Plant, established in 1943, produces a wide range of tires for lifting and transport equipment and other specialized machinery.
