"Cordiant" and Vyatka State University have launched a "tire" master's program

JSC "Cordiant" and Vyatka State University have launched a two-year master's program to train specialists in tire production technologies, who will study a range of specialized disciplines such as polymer chemistry and physics, polymer processing basics, as well as tire design and construction. 

Upon completion of the program, the professional competencies of graduates will include methods of modeling and designing tires, material property management, rubber compound recipe development, optimization of tire production technologies, etc., and they will be able to join the Cordiant tire cluster team. 

"Young specialists will be able to apply the knowledge they have gained immediately after enrolling in the master's program, as they are already employees of the R&D center," said Milena Otdelnova, Deputy Director for Prospective Development of the Cordiant tire cluster's R&D center "Intair".

The Cordiant tire cluster includes five plants in four cities: Omsk, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, and Ulyanovsk. The Intair R&D center was established in 2009.
