
Chinese investors plan to open a tire recycling plant in Primorye
The Chinese company "Jin Hai", based in the province of Liaoning, intends to open a tire recycling plant in the Primorsky Krai. The project is expected to help reduce waste volumes, and the resulting materials will be used in the production of rubber technical products, road surfaces, and other products, noted the press service of the regional government.
During a recent meeting with the Chinese side, the first deputy minister of international and foreign economic relations of the region, Alexei Starichkov, proposed to partners to consider the possibility of cooperation with local, Primorsky enterprises.
"Such a partnership can accelerate the project implementation process by using existing resources and infrastructure. Regional development institutions are ready to provide comprehensive support to the project," he noted.
Earlier, the Primorsky "EcoStar Factory", located in the TOR "Primorye", and the Chinese company held the first round of negotiations, "outlining mutual interest in joint work". At the new meeting, "key aspects of future cooperation, including recycling volumes and technical requirements" were discussed.
The director of the investment agency of the Primorsky Krai, Vitaly Galkin, introduced the Chinese delegation to investment sites that can be used for the placement of new industrial projects.
"Primorye has unique advantages for launching investment projects, - he noted. - Thanks to convenient logistics with the Far Eastern regions and proximity to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the region is an ideal place for the implementation of business initiatives in various industries".
