Taiwan-based company Kenda has added a new highway tire, the Kenda Klever H/T 4S KR620, to its lineup for SUVs, crossovers, pickup trucks, and minivans, designed for year-round use, including on snow-covered surfaces. The new product premiered at the SEMA show last year.

The novelty features a tread pattern with four wide grooves, whose design creates vortices in the flow of liquid, accelerating water dispersal and reducing the risk of aquaplaning, while the densely spaced lugs improve performance on snow.

The manufacturer notes that the Klever H/T 4S is made from an "all-season" compound with a unique blend of polymers that ensures the tires retain their elasticity over a wide range of temperatures. Additionally, silica and special resins have been added to the composition, which have both improved traction in various weather conditions and enhanced the durability of the tread. The presence of the "snowflake" (3PMSF) marking indicates that the tires can be used on snow.

Kenda adds that the variable tread pitch has been optimized using computer modeling to reduce noise, and the balanced stiffness distribution of the tread has increased grip and made the tires more durable.

The tires have been released in 23 sizes with a rim diameter of 15 to 22 inches , and additional sizes are planned to be introduced in mid-2025. The warranty mileage is up to 97,000 km.
