Kenda Extends Partnership with Formula Drift
Taiwanese Kenda Tire will continue to participate in the Formula Drift championship for the next three years. The company entered the series in 2023 and last year took third place in the tire manufacturer standings, behind Nitto and GT Radial.
In 2025, Kenda expanded its list of driver partners, including three-time Formula Drift Pro champion Fredric Aasbo. For championship participants, the company will supply new Kenda Vezda UHP Max+ tires (the most popular size is 305/35ZR18), which replace the Vezda UHP Max model used in previous seasons.
Vezda UHP Max+ is positioned as "tires with premium features at an affordable price", and Kenda only participates in series where road-legal tires are used, so that the technologies developed in the process can be made available not only to competitors but also to ordinary drivers in the future.
Formula Drift President Ryan Sage stated that he is pleased to extend the collaboration with Kenda and added that "we can't wait to see what their impressive team of drivers can do on the new Max+ tires".
