"KAMAZ-master" wins on Kama Pro tires

The KAMAZ-master team won the 14th Silk Road rally marathon on Kama Pro tires, according to the press service of the Tatarstan tire manufacturer.

In total, the race participants covered almost 2,700 km from Tomsk to Ulan-Bator, and the racing KAMAZs were equipped with new tires from the Nizhnekamsk tire complex - Kama Pro NU 405 in size 375/90 R22.5. Currently, this is the only size in which the tires are available.

The winning crew was number 303, and after the finish, pilot Dmitry Sotnikov stated: "A very tense race to the last kilometer. Today we started without seeing our competitor. We had to give our all. Only on neutralization did we see that everything was in order. The day was quite treacherous, with many places where you could puncture a tire or get stuck somewhere. The whole year was tense, we did a lot of work. It's great that we succeeded, with the first and second places going to two of our crews, and the title going to KAMAZ again. A well-deserved victory. The whole crew did an excellent job. What's the task for next year? We'll be fighting for victory, as always."

The second place was also taken by a KAMAZ-master crew, whose participant Evgeny Yakovlev highly praised the Nizhnekamsk brand tires. "The tires performed great, with no problems arising. We tested them on different types of surfaces," he noted.
