What is the most dangerous ice?

When we hear terms like "ice" and "ice road", many people imagine the kind of ice seen in the photo in this post. The main mistake here is that ice on the road looks completely different and is extremely dangerous for this very reason.

Most accidents caused by driving onto an icy road surface during the winter period are due to the fact that the driver failed to identify in a timely manner that they had entered an icy section of the road and did not manage to adjust their driving manner and dynamics.

There is a more accurate term for such a surface - "black ice". It is precisely because it is almost imperceptible and, from a visual point of view, indistinguishable from asphalt that it is much more dangerous than any other surface, as the braking distance increases significantly.

The period of "black ice" is beginning right now. Forecasters predict that the unusually warm start to November will be replaced by a sharp cooling and frost, which will immediately affect the manageability of the car.

It is especially worth noting that a significant proportion of car owners have not yet changed their tires. There is no need to wait for snowfall. Change your tires urgently if you have not already done so. This depends on the safety not only of yourself, but also of those around you.
