JK Tyre completes phase 1 expansion of Bantimore plant

The first phase of capacity expansion at JK Tyre & Industries' Banmore plant in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, has been completed. Investments of Rs 3.12 billion have increased the radial tyre capacity for passenger vehicles by 31% to 5.1 million tyres per year. 

Further investments of Rs 6.17 billion will increase capacity by another 31% by April 2024.
