Jinyu builds a new science and technology center

The company Jinyu Tire held a grand ceremony to mark the final stage of construction of its new research and development center in Qingdao, China.

The first stone of the new complex was officially laid in August 2023, and it is reported that two separate buildings were built simultaneously according to the planned schedule. The research center is expected to be launched next year and "will give a new powerful impetus to the development of Jinyu Tire.

The event to mark the completion of the construction was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Jinyu, Chan Xianshu, who noted that the new center will improve the company's research and development capabilities and enable the improvement of material properties, tire quality, and production technologies.

"The new complex will become a key platform for the development of our technologies and the training of talented specialists, which will allow Jinyu Tire to reach new heights," he added.

Jinyu was founded in 1995 (then under the name Gugangtong Rubber), and its current product range includes truck and bus tires under the Jinyu and Blacklion brands.
