Hyundai included Pirelli in the list of best suppliers of the year
Hyundai has awarded Pirelli the title of "Supplier of the Year" in recognition of "the high quality of products and services, exceptionally efficient supply chain management, and successful comprehensive collaboration", the tire company's press service reported.
Pirelli equips tires, including the latest cars from Hyundai, and, for example, for the Genesis GV60 Magma, the first model in the new sports sub-brand line, and the "charged" electric sedan Hyundai Ioniq 6 N, Pirelli P Zero tires of the latest generation were approved, made using PNCS (porous polyurethane in the design reduces noise) and Elect (tires are modified for use on electric vehicles and, in particular, differ in reduced rolling resistance to increase range).

"In a context of rapid transformation of the global automotive industry and, despite the complexities in global supply chains, Pirelli consistently provides Hyundai Motor Group with high-quality products and services, ensuring the company's continuity and stability of production thanks to its solutions", said Pirelli, adding that "using its global network of tire factories, the company actively adapts to Hyundai's production schedule, leveraging the advantages of its plants in Asia for prompt support of the automaker, which further strengthens our partnership".
Mattia Busssacchini, Senior Vice President and Commercial Director of Pirelli, added that "it is a great honor for us to receive this prestigious award from Hyundai Motor Group".
"This award fully confirms the success of the close collaboration between our companies and the fact that Hyundai highly values Pirelli's products and services. We are focused on further deepening our partnership with Hyundai and exploring new opportunities for mutual development", he said.
