Hankook has been chosen as the original equipment manufacturer for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Having met a range of stringent requirements for quality, safety, precision, and comfort, Hankook was chosen as the original equipment manufacturer for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and will supply several different sizes and types of tires for this luxury vehicle, including summer, winter, and all-season versions.

For the European market, the tire maker will provide the summer tire Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 in sizes ranging from 255/50 R18 to 285/40 R19. The winter tire Hankook Winter i*cept evo 2 will be used in sizes 255/50 R18 and 255/45 R19 for the top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz model.

Both tire versions now feature a hybrid reinforcing belt for improved handling, and the Winter i*cept evo 2 tires now have an optimized tread stiffness for better handling and increased mileage.
