Hankook Expands TBR Tire Production Capacity at Chongqing Plant

Recently, Hankook announced its intention to carry out technical transformations on the TBR production line at the Chongqing plant (China). In particular, the tire manufacturer plans to invest 47 million yuan to increase daily TBR production from 2,560 to 2,960 (annual production from 900,000 to 1.036 million) within 16 months.

Hankook claims that the project will not require new land and will be built in the existing plant workshop.
