Hankook announced that it has invested 8.6 million euros in its plant in Rácalmás (Hungary). These funds are aimed at building a rubber mixing workshop, which will increase the efficiency of the enterprise several times. Construction work on the complex has already begun. It is planned that the work will be completed in the second half of next year.

The construction of the rubber mixing workshop will be carried out as part of the economic development program adopted by the Hungarian government.

Recall that at the moment, the Hungarian Hankook enterprise produces 34,000 tires for passenger cars, SUVs and trucks daily. 2,200 people work at the plant. The installation of the new complex will make it possible to significantly increase production rates, said San Il Lee, the managing director of the company's European branch.
