Goodyear expands size range of all-season tires
Goodyear releases its repeatedly test-winning all-season tires Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 in 13 new sizes, increasing their total number to 187. This will result in a market coverage of 92% in the European market in 2025 for tires up to 18 inches in diameter and over 75% for tires from 19 inches, making all-season Goodyear tires suitable for an even larger number of car owners.
In the all-season tire market, the company is also working to expand its presence in the original equipment segment and is collaborating with leading car manufacturers, including Mercedes and Renault. Tires are supplied for both internal combustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles, including, for example, the Kia EV3, Mercedes C-Class, Volvo XC40, and Audi e-tron, and the company claims they have reduced rolling resistance and noise, meeting key requirements in the electric mobility sector.
Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 have a 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) rating, and in countries with mild winters, they can be used year-round. The tread pattern is designed to improve traction on snow and wet asphalt, while the rubber compound is optimized to increase grip on dry roads across a wide range of temperatures. Tires are also available with SealTech technology, which seals punctures in the tread up to 5 mm, allowing the tire to maintain pressure in the event of a puncture, while the SoundComfort technology - a sound-absorbing material insert inside the tire - can provide a 50% reduction in cabin noise, which is especially important for electric vehicles.

"The expansion of the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 range reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of drivers and car manufacturers," said Ben Gleason, Senior Director of Consumer Tire Technology at Goodyear EMEA. "This tire is now available to an even larger number of premium car owners and still combines advanced technology with year-round usability."
Not long ago, Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 won the Auto Bild test, and this result, according to Gleason, "once again confirms that premium all-season tires are perfectly suitable for any time of year".
In 2025, the tires will be offered in sizes with a rim diameter from 14 to 22 inches.
