Goodyear has extended the production halt of tires in the EMEA region until 2023

Goodyear reported that the tire production level in the fourth quarter of 2022 was 3.5 million units lower than in 2021, when the company's management released the full-year 2022 data in February.

This step was taken to "control working capital given weaker production volumes". Now officials have confirmed that they have decided to extend the planned winter production shutdown into the first quarter of 2023 in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region to rebalance inventories.
