Goodyear recalls defective Fulda tires

The company Goodyear is recalling an unspecified number of summer passenger tires Fulda Ecocontrol HP2 of size 225/50 R18, manufactured at the plant in Kranj (Slovenia) during the 45th week of 2024, according to the European Commission's website.

It is noted that due to a manufacturing defect, there is a risk of tread deformation, which can lead to loss of control over the vehicle and an increased risk of accidents and injuries. What the defect is, is not specified.

The tires were sold through online sales channels.
