Goodyear recalls 46 sports tires
Goodyear has initiated a recall procedure for 46 summer passenger car tires Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport in sizes 295/30ZR22 (103Y) and 315/30ZR22 (107Y), of which 37 were sold in the German market, and some were sold in France and Slovenia.
The tires were manufactured at the plant in Luxembourg from March 18 to 24, 2024, and the reason for the recall is that due to a violation of the technological process, there is a risk of tread separation and an increased risk of an accident.
Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport are sports tires created using the company's experience in motorsport and designed to provide optimal informativeness and control over the vehicle when driving at high speeds. The tires have "ultra-soft" sidewalls that improve stability on dry pavement, while the asymmetric tread pattern has been refined to improve braking efficiency and safety on wet roads.
