American driver Blake Wilkey set a record jump on a trophy truck, covering about 214 feet (65 meters) in the air. The record was set at the end of January at the Revel Surf Park in Arizona (USA), and the vehicle was equipped with X Comp X/T tires in size 40×13.5×17, which are part of the Gladiator brand.

Trophy trucks are popular racing off-road vehicles in the USA, created on the basis of pickups, and X Comp X/T tires occupy a place in the brand's assortment between All- and Mud-Terrain class models, combining aggressive design with improved comfort for everyday use.

"We are extremely proud to have helped set a new record," X Comp said in a statement. "The extreme jump required tires with exceptional strength and reliability - qualities that the X Comp X/T line is famous for - and that's why Blake chose our tires for this incredible achievement."

The X Comp brand belongs to the trading company American Pacific Industries (API), which is based in Scottsdale (Arizona, USA).
