Giti Introduced Off-Road Tires

Giti Tire invited Chinese journalists and dealers to a test drive in the Tengger Desert at the foot of the Helan Mountains as part of the presentation of the new Giti Giti4x4 AT200 tires, which, according to the manufacturer, can provide a high level of comfort on paved roads, but can also handle moderate off-road driving, and due to improved durability, are suitable for long trips on rough terrain.

To make the tires handle complex conditions, they are equipped with a 6-layer sidewall construction and reinforced shoulder zones, which reduce the likelihood of punctures and cuts, including on rocky surfaces, while the composite rubber compound further increases the strength and wear resistance of the tires, making them suitable for off-road enthusiasts.

The Giti4x4 AT200 features a tread pattern with interlocking blocks and zigzag grooves, designed to increase traction, while the stepped shoulders and special protrusions accelerate the removal of sand and improve grip on soft surfaces and mud. Additionally, the lamellas in the tread blocks improve handling on wet and snowy surfaces, the open shoulder design increases water dissipation efficiency, and the rubber compound has been improved to allow safe operation even at extremely low temperatures down to -30 °C.

During the creation of the novelty, Giti used its experience in motorsports, and the company says that its tires "have repeatedly proven their effectiveness in various conditions, from deserts to tundras, and in various disciplines, from rally to track racing". In China, Giti has been participating in off-road, snow, and ice racing for over 20 years, for which specialized tires such as the GitiCompete 4x4 Extreme1, Desert1, and studded GTR X-Grip are supplied. In June, the Giti4x4 AT200R racing tires were tested in the international "Taklamakan" rally, where they "demonstrated exceptional grip and endurance".

In the Giti lineup of off-road tires, the new product joins such tires as the Giti4x4 AT71 and GitiXCross HT71, which are more oriented towards asphalt operation and are suitable for those who want to use them in everyday life, and on weekends go to nature, as well as the Giti4×4 RT200, developed for extreme off-road driving.
