Gislaved develops cooperation with Bauman MSTU

The Gislaved plant in Kaluga (part of the "Cordiant") hosted a meeting with representatives of the management and teaching staff of the Moscow and Kaluga branches of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which focused on the development of cooperation in the field of training highly qualified engineering personnel for the tire industry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed, among other things, steps to expand practical training programs and organize internships, as well as the implementation of final projects based on real production tasks of the tire plant.

"For us, a systematic approach to training future specialists is crucial," said Pavel Borodatov, the plant's director. "The visit of a delegation of this level confirms the mutual interest in integrating education and industry. We are not just showing modern production, we are opening doors for talented students, offering them a full-fledged career trajectory - from practice to employment."

The guests of the enterprise got acquainted with the technological cycle of the enterprise, and special attention was paid to the topics of import substitution of raw materials and software, as well as the development and production of the latest generation of tires, including winter ones. The company notes that "the Q&A session with the participation of the plant's management allowed for a detailed discussion of the current challenges and prospects for the development of the domestic tire industry".

"Representatives of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University highly appreciated the level of technological equipment of the plant and the qualifications of the employees who conducted the tour of the workshops. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to start specifying the formats and deadlines for the implementation of joint educational and career projects in the near future," the "Cordiant" reports.
