General Science introduced new light truck winter tires

Jiangsu General Science Technology (GS) held a press conference in Harbin (Heilongjiang, China) for the upcoming winter season and introduced a new model for the cold season - the Celimo GWL-01 tire for minivans and light trucks.

GS says that due to the growing public awareness of road safety issues, more and more drivers are realizing the importance of using specialized tires in winter conditions, which has led to an increase in demand in the domestic Chinese market in recent years, and this trend continues. GS releases a wide range of tires (under the brands Celimo, Goodtrip, TBBTires, etc.), and it includes winter models such as GW8, GSW9, and GW88, which, according to the manufacturer, "have received high marks from sellers and users due to their excellent level of safety, reliable road grip, and excellent braking performance".

It is also reported that the Celimo GWL-01 was manufactured using new materials and technologies, which has significantly improved the performance on snow and ice compared to the previous generation of tires, increasing safety in winter conditions. The novelty has a tread pattern with three zigzag longitudinal channels that quickly remove water from the contact area, while densely spaced lamellas enhance traction on icy and snowy roads, and a reinforced sidewall design reduces the risk of damage.

General Science was founded in 2002 and currently produces tires at plants in China, Thailand, and Cambodia.
