Evonik Polyvest makes tires even more environmentally friendly

From July 1, 2025, Evonik will be using electricity from renewable sources to produce polybutadiene at its site in Marl, Germany.

This means that the Polyvest product family, which has a number of applications in tire production, is now contributing to Evonik's environmental goals for 2030, which include reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 25 percent compared to 2021 levels.
