Esso, Kwik Fit and Michelin have joined forces to tackle the issue of under-inflated tyres on UK roads

Esso has teamed up with Kwik Fit and Michelin to tackle the issue of under-inflated tyres across the UK. In October, as part of Tyre Safety Month, the three companies joined forces to raise awareness about the importance of correctly inflated tyres and help drivers improve fuel efficiency by offering free tyre checks at 70 Esso locations nationwide.

This comes after new research revealed that 28% of motorists only check their tyre pressure when the dashboard warning light comes on, and one in ten drivers don't have a tyre pressure warning light in their vehicle. To help drivers not only save fuel but also stay safe on the roads, Esso, together with Kwik Fit and Michelin, is embarking on a nationwide tour to offer free tyre checks to all comers.
