Another Chinese tire maker invests in production capacity in Cambodia

The Chinese tire company NAMA is actively diversifying its production capacity by opening a large, high-tech plant in Cambodia. 

The main goal of this multi-million project is to create a reliable foreign source of radial passenger tires to ensure stable and predictable supplies for European customers, especially given the need to circumvent existing tariff structures (such as in the EU, which has also driven the development of Thai capacities). Upon completion of the second phase, the plant will be able to produce 20 million tires per year, further solidifying NAMA's position as a global supplier.
