Dunlop has become a partner of the racing simulator equipment manufacturer

Dunlop Tyre Europe has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Fanatec — the world's leading manufacturer of racing simulator equipment and a member of the Corsair group of companies, which is an official partner of the Formula 1 championship.

Dunlop is already present in digital motorsport and has been an official partner of the Gran Turismo racing video game series since September last year, so, as the company says, cooperation with Fanatec was a natural continuation of work in this direction.

"Since we are an official partner of Gran Turismo, it was obvious to us that an agreement to cooperate with Fanatec is the next logical step," said Dennis Wilsterman, Marketing Manager at Dunlop Tyre Europe. "Together, we create a platform that allows you to enjoy motorsport at all levels: digital, virtual, and real."

As part of the partnership, Fanatec's racing simulators will be used by Dunlop during participation in various events, such as the The Tire Cologne exhibition, which will take place in Cologne from June 9 to 11.

"The goal of the cooperation is to bring together different target groups and strengthen the connection between the communities of motorsport and racing simulator enthusiasts," says Dunlop. "This partnership confirms our desire to develop motorsport not only at the technological but also at the emotional level in accordance with the needs of the modern audience."
