The share of Chinese tires in the European market continues to grow

The European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA) has reported a sharp increase in the import of cheap passenger and light truck tyres from China to Europe (EU27 + UK).

The latest ETRMA data shows that sales of Chinese tyres increased by more than 10 million units in 2022 and 2023, and by the end of last year, their volume exceeded the 2015 figures by more than 40 million units.
