Dmitrov plant started processing quarry tires
The company "Dmitrovsky Plant of RTI", based in the Moscow region and engaged in the collection and disposal of automobile tires, has launched a production line that allows the processing of tires with a diameter of up to 4.5 meters, reports the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
The new line has been invested with 200 million rubles, and its productivity is 10 tons per hour, which means that the plant will be able to process about 70 thousand tons or more than 2 thousand large-sized tires per year.
The enterprise has been operating since 2012 and is currently the largest tire processor in the country, with a staff of over 300 people. Last year, more than 1 billion rubles were invested in the development of capacities and infrastructure for the collection of old tires, and in 2026, it is planned to launch a new line for waste processing.
In addition to tires and tires, the plant also recycles electronics, textiles, and shoes, and produces tiles from rubber crumb and other products from secondary raw materials. Last year, a workshop for the production of rubber crumb for the manufacture of coatings for children's and sports grounds was launched.
In the Moscow region, used tires are accepted free of charge at almost 300 collection points created by the plant.
