For Toyota bZ3X, Chaoyang tires have been approved
Tires under the Chaoyang brand, owned by ZC Rubber, have been approved for the initial equipment of the new Toyota bZ3X electric crossover, and this is the first time Chaoyang tires have been homologated by the world's largest automaker.
ZC Rubber reports that Toyota is known for its strict supplier selection system, and the tires have passed tests in accordance with high technical standards and quality requirements. In addition, cooperation with Toyota "is of great significance for the entire Chinese tire industry", the company added.
For the bZ3X (or Bozhi 3X), the Chaoyang RP76+ tires were chosen, which have a number of advantages compared to the previous generation model. Thus, the noise level was reduced by 12%, the resource increased by 30%, and the contact area was increased by 5%, which improved the level of safety. In addition, the developers reduced the rolling resistance by 5% and shortened the braking distances on a wet road.

To improve acoustic comfort, the tread pattern was optimized, while a special rubber compound recipe provides a rolling resistance coefficient that is lower than required to receive the highest "A" rating for fuel efficiency in the European classification system, and a two-layer carcass structure with high-strength metal cord has improved the tires' resistance to damage.
"Cooperation with Toyota proves that Chinese companies not only produce good tires, but also set new standards in the global tire industry, and it will definitely inspire other domestic manufacturers to conquer new heights", said ZC Rubber.
