For the Cadillac Lyriq-V, Continental tires are homologated

The factory equipment of the new electric Cadillac Lyriq-V crossover includes 22-inch Continental PremiumContact 6 tires, known for their numerous victories in independent tests and designed to provide an optimal balance between safety and comfort.

The asymmetric tread pattern of the PremiumContact 6 is designed, among other things, to improve stability when cornering at high speeds, while the design of the longitudinal grooves is optimized to provide the fastest possible response to driver actions, and the rubber compound with silica content is designed to improve traction and reduce braking distances in any weather. Additionally, the reduced rolling resistance will increase the range of the Lyriq-V.

Currently, 18 out of 20 of the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturers use Continental tires, and the company notes that during the development of tires, developers pay special attention to reducing noise and rolling resistance, as well as improving wear resistance, while the increased load capacity helps the tires to cope with the increased weight of electric vehicles associated with the presence of batteries.

The Lyriq-V will be equipped with Continental tires in size 275/40 R22 worldwide.
