Continental named Tire Manufacturer of the Year at the NTDA Awards

Continental has been named 'Tire Manufacturer of the Year – 2026' by the National Tire Distributors Association (NTDA). The award recognises the company’s comprehensive approach to manufacturing and its responsibility towards customers, employees, and the industry. At the ceremony, Continental’s managing director Tracy Mortimer and company employee Steve Howat were also recognised.

Over the past year, Continental has launched new tires for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and buses. The company has also expanded its technical training: sessions on commercial vehicle wheel safety have been added to the programme, and informational campaigns provide insights into tires and dispel myths about retreaded tires.
