Continental presents an upgraded TPMS solution for CV tires

The Continental company offers a "entry-level solution" for fleets looking to implement digital tire management. The basis of this solution is a new sensor on the valve cap, which receives tire condition data in a "very economical, simple and manufacturer-independent way". 

The sensor simply screws onto the tire valve and is compatible with the tires of commercial vehicles of all major brands. It measures tire pressure in real time and connects to ContiConnect receiving units, including smartphone apps.
