Continental is the first tire manufacturer to use the sustainable rubber additive Lanxess Vulkanox HS Scopeblue

Continental became the first tire manufacturer to use the new rubber additive Vulkanox HS Scopeblue from Lanxess.

This is a more sustainable version, certified by ISCC PLUS. According to life cycle assessments, this additive, made from raw materials such as biocircular acetone, has a carbon footprint more than 30% lower than that of its traditional counterpart.
