Continental: The new Conti Eco HT 5 completes the Eco line

Continental has introduced a new trailer tire, the Conti Eco HT 5, completing the fifth generation of Conti Eco tires for freight transport.

Together with the steer tire Conti Eco HS 5 and the drive tire Conti Eco HD 5, the new model offers a comprehensive solution for fleets, reducing operating costs, increasing mileage, and lowering rolling resistance, which contributes to fuel savings.

Designed for regional and long-haul transportation, the Conti Eco HT 5 extends the benefits of the Conti Eco Generation 5 family to the trailer axle. Trailer tires, although non-driven, make a significant contribution to the rolling resistance of a commercial vehicle combination. Reducing this resistance at the trailer axle helps lower fuel consumption and, consequently, CO₂ emissions.
