Bridgestone will add to its range new motorcycle tires Battlax Racing Street RS12, created under the "from track to street" approach, meaning that technologies initially developed for motorsports were used in their creation, which, according to the company, provided the novelty with the highest level of grip on dry pavement among all tires in the Battlax family, legal for public roads.

Technologies from motorcycle racing were applied during the development of the rubber compound, which enhances grip, while the new tread pattern increases the stiffness of the tire and the contact patch when cornering due to the optimized groove area. In addition, the design of the front tire is made using the HE-MS BELT technology — increased flexibility of the breaker aligns the pressure in the contact area, further improving grip — which has already proven its effectiveness in world-class racing and was not previously used in the segment of road tires.

According to Bridgestone, thanks to the technologies that have been refined over the years as part of participation in endurance racing, a comprehensive improvement of the characteristics of the new tires was carried out, with particular attention paid to increasing grip on dry surfaces. Due to this, the RS12 is capable of "significantly" reducing lap times on the track compared to the previous generation tires — Battlax Racing Street RS11, and also, thanks to the modified rubber compound, tread pattern and design, the new model is able to maintain high grip even after several laps.

In January 2026, the new Bridgestone will enter the markets of Europe and North America, after which they will be presented in Japan. The tires will be available in the size of 120/70ZR17 for the front axle and three sizes for the rear wheel: 180/55ZR17, 190/55ZR17 and 200/55ZR17.
