Bridgestone announced the release of a new sports-touring motorcycle tire, the Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T33, which replaces the Battlax Sport Touring T32 model and will go on sale in various regions of the world in January 2025 (in Japan in February 2025).

Compared to the previous generation of tires, the resource has been increased by 47%, while the performance on wet pavement has remained at the same level, and the reliability of handling on dry roads has been improved. Thus, the tires are even better suited for long motorcycle trips, the company notes.

The production of the T33 will use new rubber compounds, which, in combination with the improved tread design and construction, have made the tires more durable. In addition, the tires for both the front and rear axles have received new tread patterns with optimized void ratio and tread stiffness, designed to provide the necessary traction and stability.

The front tire features a new diagonal construction, while the rear tire is made using the MS Belt technology, which uses a single cord thread without seams and joints, making the breaker more lightweight and flexible. Bridgestone says that the T33 is optimally suited for both light and heavy motorcycles, while the rear tire is made from a special compound with a high-strength wear-resistant polymer that helps prevent polymer chain breaks.

In the first phase, the tires will be available in 10 sizes with a rim diameter of 17-19 inches, and in 2026, five additional sizes will be introduced.
