Bridgestone releases semi-slick tires Potenza Race for track days

Bridgestone has released the semi-slick Bridgestone Potenza Race tire, its first tire for track days, designed for the replacement market.

During testing conducted by TÜV SÜD on the 6.115 km Nardò circuit in Italy, the tire was able to improve the average lap time set by three leading competitor tires over three laps by more than two seconds on average. The tire also ranked second in durability and showed the best-in-class dry braking performance at Bridgestone's European proving ground.

Potenza Race is road-legal, but its characteristics are geared towards track days. Tires will be available in 13 popular sizes, ranging from 17 to 20 inches, starting from June 2022.
