Bridgestone releases new all-season light truck tires
Bridgestone has introduced new all-season commercial tires, Bridgestone Duravis All Season Evo, which replace the Duravis All Season model and are designed to increase the efficiency of vehicle fleets engaged in regional transportation or last-mile delivery by reducing vehicle downtime and operating costs.
Compared to Duravis All Season, the new tires have improved durability, as well as better performance on wet roads and energy efficiency, and are designed for use on both traditional internal combustion engine vehicles and electric cars.
According to Bridgestone, the service life of the new tires has been increased by 15%, and rolling resistance has been reduced by the same amount. In the European labeling system, Duravis All Season Evo received the highest rating "A" for wet grip in all sizes, and the 3PMSF marking confirms that the tires can be safely operated on snowy roads.
The new Bridgestone tires are made using the Enliten technology, and the company says that a special polymer in the rubber compound has increased resistance to wear, while the optimized pressure distribution in the contact patch and increased tread stiffness also improve durability and extend the life of the tires. Additionally, a new additive has been added to the compound that improves the properties of the tires on wet roads, while the volumetric lamellas in the shoulder area accelerate water dispersal, and the V-shaped tread pattern provides good handling on snow. Finally, energy efficiency has been increased thanks to a polymer that reduces energy losses, and special ribs on the sidewalls prevent damage when contacting curbs.

"Van drivers and fleets need durable and robust tires that are suitable for year-round use, and our latest tire helps minimize downtime and reduce customer costs."
The development of Bridgestone Duravis All Season Evo was carried out in Europe, and the start of sales is scheduled for January 2025. Initially, the tires will be offered in 24 sizes with a diameter from 15 to 17 inches, including six sizes with increased load capacity (10PR nominal layer). In the Duravis lineup, the new tire joins the summer tires Duravis Van and winter Duravis Van Winter, which have also been adapted to the characteristics of electric vehicles.
