Bridgestone has introduced the new Turanza Prestige tire on the US market, designed specifically for owners of premium passenger cars and crossovers, and will become the flagship model of the brand in the "grand touring" segment, where tires with improved comfort levels are present, optimally suited for long trips.

Compared to the previous generation tires - Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack - the resource has been increased by 44%, and internal tests have shown that the novelty can last 13% longer than the leading competitor - Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3. In addition, the tread pattern with increased depth is optimized for quick water drainage from the contact area, and in terms of braking efficiency on a wet road, Turanza Prestige outperforms P7 AS Plus 3 by 7%.

The design of the new Bridgestone includes additional notches in the shoulder areas, wide central ribs, and deep 3D lamellae, and the company says that the design was designed, among other things, to absorb vibrations and provide a smooth and comfortable ride. In addition, the Enliten technology is used, which allows increasing the environmental friendliness of tires (by reducing rolling resistance, reducing resource consumption, etc.) without compromising safety, and the use of QuietTrack technology (optimization of various tread elements) helped improve acoustic comfort. In most sizes, the tires are equipped with sidewall trim elements in a contrasting color, and the design of the sidewalls has been made more "visually dynamic". The warranty mileage of the new tires is 70,000 miles (112,000 km), and in the US, they will be considered all-season (with M+S markings on the sidewalls).

A high-tech rubber compound with the PeakLife polymer, which increases wear resistance, has been developed for Turanza Prestige, and in addition, some petroleum-based materials have been replaced with soybean oil. Thanks to this, as the manufacturer claims, the viscosity of the raw materials is reduced, which simplifies the rubber mixing process.

"Our new flagship tire, Turanza Prestige, is designed to combine exceptional ride comfort, quietness, and durability, and will fit most luxury passenger cars and crossovers available on the market," said Dale Harrigle, senior engineer of the consumer tire development department for the aftermarket at Bridgestone Americas. - The use of the patented PeakLife polymer and Enliten technology has made it possible to create a "grand touring" tire with unprecedented characteristics and a warranty mileage of 70,000 miles."

Turanza Prestige will be produced in 18 sizes with diameters of 17-20 inches and speed indices H, V, and W. The tires are designed for use on vehicles such as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Audi A7, BMW X5 and X7, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and others, and sales will start on March 1.
