Bridgestone is implementing an Italian project for using recycled rubber in the treads of automobile tires
In July, the Life Green Vulcan project by Rubber Conversion was selected by the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy as one of the best within the LIFE program for environmental and climate protection.
The Life Green Vulcan project demonstrated the use of recycled rubber in the automotive industry. In particular, Stellantis released spring clips containing 20 percent recycled rubber, and Bridgestone released an automotive tire tread containing 10 percent recycled rubber by weight.
