Bridgestone has prepared tires for the Lamborghini Fenomeno
Bridgestone has become the exclusive tire supplier for the new limited-edition supercar Lamborghini Fenomeno, which has been released in a limited edition of 29 units per year, as the Italian brand celebrates the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the first car fully developed by its design department in Sant'Agata Bolognese. The Fenomeno, with a power output of 1080 horsepower, has become the fastest model from Lamborghini, with acceleration from 0 to 100 and 200 km/h taking 2.4 and 6.7 seconds, respectively.
Tires for the supercar, equipped with the most powerful V12 engine in Lamborghini's history, were created to order, and for the Fenomeno, Bridgestone developed a new version of the Potenza Sport tires, designed using the company's many years of experience in motorsports. The tires are supplied in sizes 265/30 ZRF21 for the front and 355/25 ZRF22 for the rear axle and have a Run-Flat design, which allows the car to continue moving in the event of a puncture for up to 80 km at a speed of up to 80 km/h.
According to Bridgestone, the semi-slick Potenza Sport tires are comparable in terms of grip to racing tires but are still legal for public roads and "allow the full potential of the exclusive supercar to be unleashed", with their "natural habitat" being racing tracks.
